Ascendant is recruiting a warehouseperson to support company construction programs worldwide. Our warehouseperson is responsible for unloading and loading construction tools, equipment, and materials safely, controlling inventory, palletizing and building crates in preparation for shipments, and other warehouse related duties as assigned. They assist the Logistics Manager in maintaining efficient warehouse facility operations.

This position is in San Antonio, Texas.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with team members and external parties such as vendors, and shipping and trucking companies.
• Attention-to-detail in organizing construction materials, equipment, and tools in a safe warehouse working environment.
• Safely operate material handling equipment (i.e., forklift) and miscellaneous tools (band saw, drills, etc.).
• Ability to learn to use Microsoft Office software applications to help track inventory.
• Ability to operate both independently and in a team environment to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Must be able to obtain security clearance.
• Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to acquire a DOT medical card.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
